Just 10 minutes north of Clint’s Reptile Room, Rock Canyon is a living classroom where campers explore ecosystems, habitats, and animal adaptations through hands-on outdoor learning.
Campers will explore Animal Super Powers—the incredible adaptations that help animals survive, thrive, and overcome challenges in the wild.

Designed with homeschoolers in mind, this experience blends hands-on animal interactions, captivating scientific concepts, and engaging explorations of biology, ecology, and diverse habitats. This semester we’ll focus on Utah’s native reptiles—while still introducing you to amazing species from across the world. If your learner thrives on discovery, adventure, and real-life learning, this course is a perfect fit!

This semester, we’re shining the spotlight on Utah’s native reptiles—though you’ll still meet incredible creatures from all around the globe. If you love animals, curiosity, and learning through real experiences, this is the place to be!

Step into the ancient world with paleontologist Ethan Storrer! In this engaging university-level course, Ethan draws on his extensive expertise and current work as a practicing paleontologist to reveal the science behind prehistoric life.

Reptiles and amphibians are some of the most misunderstood, and magnificent of all living animals. Commonly thought of as simple, cold-blooded, mindless little monsters, the more you know about these incredible animals, the more wonderful they become.
